Brain Tumor


A mass of abnormal cells in the brain and there are many types. They may be primary (starting in the brain) or metastatic (traveling to the brain from another site in the body). All brain tumors are either benign or malignant and often cause headaches, seizures, or neurological deficits. Malignant tumors are referred to as cancers. Tumor treatments can consist of surgical resection or biopsy, radiation approaches, or drug treatment approaches (chemotherapy).
