Osama Ahmed, TEXAS TECH

Dr. Ahmed attended The University of Texas at Austin, where he received his B.A. in biochemistry, graduating with honors. He attended Texas Tech University, where he received his M.D. in 2008. Afterwards, Dr. Ahmed accepted a Neurotrauma research fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine under Dr. Claudia Robertson, which he participated in for one year. During his time at Baylor, Dr. Ahmed was involved in numerous projects and clinical trials. A majority of his time was spent contributing to the phase III clinical trial of Epogen and TBI patients. Dr. Ahmed was also involved in writing chapters and other various projects, some of which he will continue to work on during residency.
