The Neurosurgery Fellowship provides state-of-the-art training, a challenging curriculum with supervised and structured clinical care, interactive learning sessions, instructive presentations, and opportunities in neuroscientific research.
Fellows are given the opportunity to attend weekly general surgery, neurology, and neurosurgery case conferences, monthly neurosurgery morbidity/mortality, monthly neurosurgery grand rounds, and bimonthly journal clubs. In addition to these educational symposiums, fellows are also given the opportunity to attend annual neurosurgical conferences that have accepted their research-related posters and abstracts for presentation.
The Department of Neurosurgery accepts graduates of U.S. residency programs, as well as foreign medical graduates.
