Chairman and Professor of the Department of Neurosurgery at LSU Health Sciences Center, Dr. Anil Nanda, recently traveled to Memphis, Tenn., as a visiting professor. Nanda's presentation was titled "Skull Base Surgery: Quo Vadis?" The term "quo vadis?" is derived from the Latin phrase meaning "Where are you going?"
Throughout his presentation, Nanda gave examples of case studies, complications in skull base surgery, and he discussed treatment options, vascular and trauma neurosurgery and the direction these applications are leading the field of neurosurgery.
